The PMMA tubes stand for Poly, and it is also known as acrylic or acrylic glass. In the business world, or trade language PMMA tube is known as; Plexiglas, Lucite, Crylux, Acrylite, and Perspex among several others. The PMMA tube is generally considered one of the clearest plastics in the market.
PMMA is a transparent thermoplastic, it is generally used in sheet form being a trivial or shatter-resistant alternative to glass. On the other hand, it can also be used in inks, as a casting resin, coatings, and has many other uses.
PMMA is an amorphous, transparent and colorless thermoplastic that is hard and stiff, yet brittle and notch-sensitive. It has great scraped area and UV protection and astounding optical clearness however poor low temperature, weakness, and solvent resistance. Though flammable, it has a low smoke emission.
